Ingredients:

2 apples (red)

6 tbsp apple/apricot puree

2 sheets of puff pastry

Water
-
Cinnamon

Method:

Defrost puff pastry

Cut apples into paper thin slices

Cover them in water and microwave for 3 minutes

Cut puff pastry into slices

Spread puree over half of the puff pastry slice

Place the cut apples along the puff pastry so the red edge sticks over the strip, make sure they are overlapping each other to create a beautiful rose

Sprinkle cinnamon across the apple slices

Fold up the dough and carefully roll it from one end

Place in a greased muffin tin

Bake at 190°c for 40 minutes until cooked, cover with aluminium foil if needed
