Ingredients:

  • 125g butter, softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups self raising flour

  • 1/2 cup milk

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 170°c

  2. Beat butter, essence and sugar until light and fluffy

  3. Beat in egg one at a time until well combined

  4. Stir in flour and milk in two batches on a low speed

  5. Place cake into the prepared pan and cook for 40 minutes or until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean

  6. Enjoy!

Serves: 1 cake

Cook time: 40 min

Total time: 55 min
