Ingredients:

125g butter, softened

1 tsp vanilla essence

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups self raising flour

1/2 cup milk
Method:

Preheat oven to 170°c
-
Beat butter, essence and sugar until light and fluffy
-
Beat in egg one at a time until well combined
-
Stir in flour and milk in two batches on a low speed
-
Place cake into the prepared pan and cook for 40 minutes or until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean
-
Enjoy!
