
Ingredients:

5 green apples

1 cup plain flour

1 cup rolled oats
-
1 cup coconut
-
½ brown sugar
-
75g butter
-
2 tbsp honey
-
1 tsp bicarb soda
-
2 tbsp boiling water

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°c

Chop apples into cubes and cook until soft in boiling water, then strain and set aside

Combine flour, oats, coconut and sugar
-
Melt together the butter and honey
-
Mix bicarb soda with the boiling water and add to the melted butter and honey

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined

Pour the cooked apples into a pan and spoon the crumble on top
-
Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown
