Ingredients:
-
9 egg whites
-
1 ½ cups caster sugar

1 tsp cornflour
-
1 tsp white vinegar
-
250ml whipped cream
-
Fruit to top

Method:

Preheat oven to 200°c
-
Beat egg whites until they are white and fluffy
-
Add caster sugar gradually until it is white and glossy with stiff peaks
-
Add the cornflour and white vinegar
-
Mould into a round shape 5-8cm high on baking paper
-
Turn the oven down to 100°c and cook the pavlova for 2 ¾ hours, then open the oven door and leave until it is completely cooled
-
Decorate with cream and fruit of your choice
